I have thought for awhile to get these tattoos, I promised myself that I would only get a tattoo if the meaning of the tattoo meaning was deep. Before anyone says anything , I know I will be 75 years old with all these tattoos.
Pokeball: Probably going to get it on my right arm. My mother was physically handicapped with Muscular Dystrophy for as long as I can remember so growing up I didn’t really have a normal mother-son relationship. The one thing that we bounded over was the original Pokemon games, it was something that she could play in her chair and was not a overally complicated game, but at the same time it wasn’t super basic. She really liked the game and we bonded over the games. She passed on when I was a junior in High School. The tattoo would be dedicated to her but also to me, as Pokemon was the first game I really got obssessed with.
Dragonball: Probably going to get this on the right side of my chest. I have always wanted to get a Dragonball on me since I was a little kid. The Dragonball series was the first show I really got into and really was surprised how cool asian media could be. I feel that it was a huge part of my childhood, and created the person I am today.
Harry Potter Tattoo, Lightbulb,Crown, and Lightning Bolt): Probably going to get this on my left upper arm. Harry Potter was the only book that I read when I was a kid. My then girlfriend now wife got pregnant with our daughter around the same time as the Last harry potter book came out. The book series to me signifies me growing up the series, with the last book ending in my childhood and now having to grow up a bit and become a responsible adult.
For now those are my 3 tattoos I am planning to get, hopefully I will have all my tattoos by the end of this year. There is really no particular order in which I will get them btw.
